Sofas & Sectionals Specifics

Framing: Our GOLS certified natural latex and OEKO-TEX 100 standard wool sofa and sectional frames are constructed with a blend of FSC certified solid wood and PureBond® engineered hardwood for added stability. Each frame is corner blocked for strength and comes with a lifetime warranty against cracking, breaking, or warping. 

Suspension: We use our proprietary hand-tied arch suspension system or an 8-way hand-tied coil spring suspension system depending on the upholstery product. We’ve sat and sat again testing products to create the most supportive, comfortable sit that also prevents sagging and squeaking. 

Filling: Our high-density foams and fillings are known for their comfort, responsiveness, and ability to retain shape over time. We offer GOLS certified organic plant-based natural latex foam wrapped in OEKO-TEX 100 Standard wool, as well as high-resilience poly foam certified by CertiPUR-US®. Both options are wonderfully supportive and sumptuously soft.

We've provided detailed material specifications on each individual product page, but primarily we feature FSC certified and domestic solid woods. In select cases, we incorporate engineered hardwood to enhance structural integrity or reduce weight where appropriate.

There is not a single certifying agency for an entire piece of furniture that covers everything a person may want to consider when buying furniture. We’ve found that individual material certifications are a more effective way to understand what goes into making your furniture. - Wood is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)

When you reach the "fabrics and leathers" step, you'll notice that the lead time changes dynamically as you click between fabric collections (look for the orange text next to the truck icon).
