Rio Sofa Bed's classic silhouette is wrapped in plush cushioning that pairs timeless appeal with enveloping comfort. A comfy stowaway certified organic natural latex mattress makes hosting a breeze. Our plant-based latex mattress features 100% certified-organic Dunlop latex with protective layers of wool and a certified-organic cotton cover. Made from the sap of rubber trees (Hevea Brasiliensis), this ultra-responsive material delivers body-contouring support for pressure-free, luxurious comfort.

Cushions and Frame: Natural latex foam seat cushions wrapped in your choice of cushy wool fiber or cozy down. Back pillows filled with corresponding wool or down. Frame wrapped in wool and padded in natural latex on the arms and back for extra softness and squish. All loose back pillows and seat cushions are flippable, and feature removable zippered covers for spot cleaning. Some fabrics are machine washable as noted in the fabric information.

Great for my studio apartment
It was worth the 4-month wait - the perfect size for my small apartment and serves as my only living-room and bedroom furniture. I like its mid-century look. Sitting on the firm seat is comfy and good for my posture. 🙂 The latex mattress is comfortable - comes from a warehouse in Chicago with a tag that says it was manufactured three years ago. I bought the full-size whose mattress is a little narrower than a regular full-size, but full-size sheets still fit it fine.

We love our couch!
We waited much longer than we were told we would have to wait when we purchased it, so just factor that in to your mindset… But that said, we couldn’t be happier with this couch! It is the perfect amount of firmness for us, and everything arrived in perfect shape. I have to say we haven’t tested out the bed even once, so can’t comment on that. It was important to us to have a couch made with non-toxic materials so it was worth the extra cost to go with the latex and wool. Overall highly recommend.

Well Done
Absolutely love this sofa bed! It is beautiful, comfortable, easy to alter to bed and back, and makes me happy to see and be on. The fabric is lovely, soft, and tightly woven. Class A. It is so reassuring to have NO chemical
smell at all- not on mattress or anywhere!!
I only ask that a sofa cover be made. We have a cat who likes it too and another family member who is allergic. I hate o cover it with anything less than a medley cover!
