Ultra durable. Ultra comfy. Derived from the sap of rubber trees, our GOLS-certified organic natural latex features impressive spring-back for 20+ years of support (so much longer than any old petroleum-based cushion foam).
We wrap each cushion in an envelope of lofted, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100-certified wool for cushy, sink-in softness—unlike down, wool's resilience requires minimal fluffing to maintain its pillowy lift and support.
We've swapped out typical petroleum-based foam for thick, needled sheets of OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100-certified wool to create an extra layer of cushiony padding around our furniture frames.
Our corner-blocked frames are constructed with a blend of solid wood and formaldehyde-free PureBond® hardwood plywood for added stability, and each comes with a lifetime warranty.
Naturally tough jute is an integral part of our frame and suspension design for lasting comfort (without sagging or squeaking).

How does it feel to sit on latex + wool furniture?
Overall, it’s a plush, supportive, and incredibly comfy lounge. Our latex foam cushion is dense with a soft, slightly springy sit, and each is wrapped in an envelope of fluffy wool for sink-in softness. Back pillows are also filled with wool—unlike down, wool's resilience requires minimal fluffing to maintain its pillowy lift and support. Frames are covered in thick needled wool, and the arms are padded with a thin layer of latex for extra softness.
How does latex + wool hold up over time?
Latex foam, which comes from rubber tree sap, features durable spring-back to hold its shape for 20+ years—much longer than traditional poly foam that you'll typically find in a sofa. Our wool fiber-filled back pillows maintain lasting fullness and structure, too. Naturally pliant, wool fibers can bend an astonishing 20,000 times before they break! Overall, both of these natural materials offer more resilience, structure, and support than standard poly foams and fillings—all while being easier on the planet and better to bring into your home.

The Rio sectional is extremely comfortable and supportive and is great for napping. The style looks amazing and I've received many compliments on it. I'm very sensitive to chemicals outgassing and struggle to find furniture and I only noticed minor outgassing issues on the first day, which is unheard of compared to all other furniture I've purchased, including Greenguard Gold certified items. I had my eye on Medley couches for years and wish I had gone for it sooner with how happy I've been with this purchase!

I loved the experience with Medley. From start to finish, I enjoyed seeing/feeling the swatches and being able to customize the size of our sectional to my exact specifications. I also enjoyed getting email updates, though it would have been nice to receive pictures as well (I imagine that would be difficult, however). Our sectional arrived in perfect condition only a few days after the 3 week window we were told. I do wish there was a way for customers to get tracking updates for the finished product to know where it is and be able to plan for when it should arrive. That was the only downside to the entire experience. Overall, we are very happy with our sectional and happy we chose Medley! We already shared our swatches with a neighbor who is in the market for a new couch and talked up our experience!
