Ultra durable. Ultra comfy. Derived from the sap of rubber trees, our GOLS certified organic natural latex features impressive spring-back for 20+ years of support (so much longer than any old petroleum-based cushion foam).
We wrap each cushion in an envelope of lofted, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100-certified wool for cushy, sink-in softness—unlike down, wool's resilience requires minimal fluffing to maintain its pillowy lift and support.
We've swapped out typical petroleum-based foam for thick, needled sheets of OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100-certified wool to create an extra layer of cushiony padding around our furniture frames.
Our corner-blocked frames are constructed with a blend of solid wood and formaldehyde-free PureBond® hardwood plywood for added stability, and each comes with a lifetime warranty.
Naturally tough jute is an integral part of our frame and suspension design for lasting comfort (without sagging or squeaking).
No synthetic linings here. Our soft, breathable cotton dust covers protect our frames and cushion fillings.

What does your latex + wool furniture feel like?
Overall, it’s a plush, supportive, and incredibly comfy lounge. Our latex foam cushion is dense with a soft, slightly springy sit, and each is wrapped in an envelope of fluffy wool for sink-in softness. Back pillows are also filled with wool, and unlike down, wool's resilience requires no fluffing to maintain its pillowy lift and support. How do natural latex + wool cushions hold up over time?
Our natural latex foam seat cushions, which come from rubber tree sap, feature a durable spring-back to hold its shape for 20+ years—much longer than traditional poly foam that you'll typically find in a sofa. Our wool fiber-filled back pillows maintain lasting fullness and structure, too. Naturally pliant, wool fibers can bend an astonishing 20,000 times before they break!

My wife and I spent a really long time looking for a new sofa. We visited brick-and-mortar stores (Ethan Allen, Basset, Pottery Barn, etc) and heavily considered some online-only options like Room and Board. Well, we ended up going with Medley and despite having to put down our money up front and wait for a couple months, we were not disappointed and I can say it’s been 100% worth it. When the piece finally arrived and we sat on it for the first time, I instantly knew we made a good choice. We were kinda concerned we wouldn’t like the feel of the cushions (since we obviously couldn’t test out a floor model before buying), but the comfort level of this sofa beats all the ones we tried in person. The cushions have the perfect amount of squishiness without feeling cheap, the upholstery is soft to the touch, and the lower arm height of the Lala makes it feel extra deluxe when you get settled into the corner of the couch. For full reference, we went with the 89” long Lala chaise with poly foam/fiber cushions and Juneberry Linen fabric in Jasmine. Buying from Medley was definitely more expensive than other options, but I don't regret it because I feel like we got a superior product — the piece feels super solid and well constructed, and the high quality of Medley’s fabrics was a big differentiator for me. I did upgrade to down wrapped cushions which I thought would be extra soft according to the description. However I found them to be very stiff and uncomfortable and far from sink in softness. I am hoping they soften with time. Otherwise the sofa is well made and has no chemical smell.

The couch looks beautiful and is great to sit on - bouncier than we expected but we like it. We have a young puppy and a newborn so we love the scratch and stain resistant material that is also soft to the touch. We wished the quoted lead time was more accurate (it was delayed another 2-3 months for us). Regardless, we are happy with the order. It's good to know the couch is backed with a great warranty, and the couch will last us a lifetime.
