Ultra durable. Ultra comfy. Derived from the sap of rubber trees, our GOLS-certified organic natural latex features impressive spring-back for 20+ years of support (so much longer than any old petroleum-based cushion foam).
We wrap each cushion in an envelope of lofted, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100-certified wool for cushy, sink-in softness—unlike down, wool's resilience requires minimal fluffing to maintain its pillowy lift and support.
We've swapped out typical petroleum-based foam for thick, needled sheets of OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100-certified wool to create an extra layer of cushiony padding around our furniture frames.
Our corner-blocked frames are constructed with a blend of solid wood and formaldehyde-free PureBond® hardwood plywood for added stability, and each comes with a lifetime warranty.
Naturally tough jute is an integral part of our frame and suspension design for lasting comfort (without sagging or squeaking).
No synthetic linings here. Our soft, breathable cotton dust covers protect our frames and cushion fillings.

How does it feel to sit on latex + wool furniture?
Overall, it’s a plush, supportive, and incredibly comfy lounge. Our latex foam cushion is dense with a soft, slightly springy sit, and each is wrapped in an envelope of fluffy wool for sink-in softness. Back pillows are also filled with wool—unlike down, wool's resilience requires minimal fluffing to maintain its pillowy lift and support. Frames are covered in thick needled wool, and the arms are padded with a thin layer of latex for extra softness.
How does latex + wool hold up over time?
Latex foam, which comes from rubber tree sap, features durable spring-back to hold its shape for 20+ years—much longer than traditional poly foam that you'll typically find in a sofa. Our wool fiber-filled back pillows maintain lasting fullness and structure, too. Naturally pliant, wool fibers can bend an astonishing 20,000 times before they break! Overall, both of these natural materials offer more resilience, structure, and support than standard poly foams and fillings—all while being easier on the planet and better to bring into your home.

it's hard to buy a couch online — one you can't try out, one you need to order fabric swatches for, etc. when we moved into a new home, the first thing i wanted was a couch, and my husband requested it be made of natural materials. medley was one of the few options i could find that fit our timeline and aesthetic.
i went back and forth between the blumen chaise and rio plush chaise and i am SO glad we opted for the blumen, largely because the wide, flat arms are awesome. perfect spot to put my laptop, a mug of coffee, a book — even wide enough to sit on, and i think will be fun for our son to play on when he's older.
we opted for the latex and wool version, and i think the couch is very comfortable. firm, supportive, yet still manages that sink in comfort feel. my husband spent a week on it while sick and said it may be more comfortable than our avocado latex+wool mattress.
we also splurged on the juneberry fabric (in indigo). it's soft yet feels very durable, and so far is very easy to clean with just a rag and water.
the delivery came a month sooner than expected, and the white glove service was excellent. the only "issue" we had is that the sectional didn't have the right clips installed, so we couldn't connect the chaise and sofa together until medley sent us an alligator clip. it took a week to get it in the mail, but it was an easy installation.
there was no perceived "offgassing," but i will say the couch had a very distinct, reasonably strong smell that faded…

The whole process was super easy. The hardest part was waiting. But it was worth the wait. After the couch arrived, I inspected it and I was impressed by the craftsmanship and attention to detail. We absolutely love it. Everyone that has seen it wants to sit on it. We got the extra wide chaise lounge. Its like a bed in our living room. The fabric is so smooth and soft. The couch is awesome and so comfortable. The Blumen sits lower which makes it nice to lounge. The casablanca fabric is great and feels well put together. I feel like I could stand maybe even jump on the couch arm if I wanted to. sturdy construction. The down feather pillows were nice and packed, didnt get the latex cushions but thier standard foam is great. It was delivered in the timeframe as well! Thanks Medley!
