Warranty & Product Care
We're confident your furniture will last as long as you need it to, but just in case, we offer several product warranties, including a lifetime warranty on our frames (that's a big deal!). Read on for a breakdown of each. In all cases, these warranties apply to the original owner.
We offer a lifetime warranty on all frames, including all internal springs and wood structural elements.
We offer a 10-year warranty on cushions cores against manufacturing defects and significant loss of shape or resiliency. Please note that fillings will naturally soften over time.
We offer a 5-year warranty on fabrics against manufacturing defects. Please note that some fabrics will pill, which you can resolve with a fabric shaver. All fabrics and leathers will stretch a bit with use. In addition, all fabrics and leathers (especially natural materials like cotton) will lighten and change color as they are exposed to direct and indirect light.
We offer a lifetime warranty on frames for case goods with exposed wood. This includes the structural integrity of the piece (not the surface). We also offer a lifetime warranty on any hardware used. All exteriors of our wood products are built with solid wood (no veneers), so you can sand down and refinish as necessary.
We offer a 20-year warranty on mattresses. This warranty assumes normal wear and tear.
For spills and occasional cleaning, make sure to use a cleaning product specifically designed for leather. Condition 3-6 times a year to keep your leather hydrated and looking great. Avoid direct sunlight and high heat to prevent discoloration and drying out.
Our natural solid wood is meant to last. To dust, simply use a damp rag with water. To help prevent future stains and keep your wood furniture looking great, apply wood oil as needed, but test first on a non-visible piece of furniture. Clean up spills and water rings as soon as possible to avoid leaving marks.
Foam & Feathers Care
Our foam and natural latex exceed industry standards and should hold their shape for years. To maintain seam alignment and to maximize cushion resiliency, simply flip, and, if possible, rotate to a different position on the piece. For down cushions and back pillows, a quick fluff rejuvenates them to their desired shape.
After identifying the code below for your fabric, make sure to use a corresponding upholstery cleaning product. Avoid direct sunlight as it can discolor fabrics, but please note that all fabrics and leathers (especially natural materials like cotton) will fade or change color over time with indirect or direct light. If you have a fabric with a "loop weave," be cautious of snags from sharp objects. Stain repellants are not needed but can be applied after your purchase at your discretion. If your fabric is pilling you can use a fabric shaver.
Cleaning (W) Code Fabrics
A "W" indicates that your piece can be cleaned with water. This means you're safe to use an upholstery/carpet cleaner (by using the attachments) on your spill or stain. This is the most durable type of fabric you can buy and is ideal for furniture that will see a high volume of use or spills ( dining room chairs, living room couches and chairs).
Cleaning (S) Code Fabrics
A "S" indicates that your piece MUST be cleaned with cleaning solvents (dry clean only) and will not react well if water is applied to it. Spot cleaning is only advised if the product is meant for home dry cleaning use. Make sure that after using a product of this nature to use a blow dryer to dry the spot so it doesn't leave a ring! Stains, spills or dirt in general should be cleaned as soon as possible to retain the longevity of the colors and the fabric.
Cleaning (W/S) Code Fabrics
A "W/S" indicates that you can use either dry cleaning solvents or water with mild hand soap for cleaning. Clean spots ASAP before they have a chance to set in.
